rep cricket match

on Thursday I had my first rep cricket match. We played the other rep team and we won 78 to 95. 

my favourite part was bowling but I also batted wicket keeped. When I batted I scored 13. 

Overall I found it really fun. Especially the bowling.

Cricket

On Saturday I had my cricket game at point England. We batted first because the pitch was dry and good for batting. I batted second and got 32 runs. Next we fielded, I was wicketkeeper for the first ten overs and Aidan was keeper for the second ten. I bowled 2 overs, I think that I was good in the field.
my favourite part of the game was definitely batting. I got player of the day.

bike safety fun

On Monday we did bike safety with constable Gordon. We had to bring our bikes to school. We had to complete an obstacle course with all of the things we learned when we had our theory class. On Friday the previous week.  We learned all about the road rules and what to do at intersections and roundabouts. All in all I think it was really fun and entertaining

wenderholm orienteering trip

On Tuesday we went to wenderholm regional park for an orienteering trip. We had to run up hills and complete challenges and get checkpoints. To get a checkpoint you have to answer a question and to get a challenge you have to you have to do what the park rangers ask you to do. I found it really fun because i got to do a lot of running. My favourite part was the taxidermy animals challenge which was at the top of a huge hill. In the end it was so fun but i did get really wet because it was pouring down.

holiday

On labour weekend i went to pauinui which is a town on the corommandel peninsula, it has a surf beach and an estuary we stayed in a bach with two paddle boards.
On the first day we went paddle boarding and body boarding.
On the second day we went body boarding,paddle boarding and we went to play mini golf .
On the third day we went body boarding and then we went paddle boarding and then we drove back home for school.

tree house maths

Over the last two weeks in maths we have been making tree houses.
I worked with Prashil.
Our tree house has a pool, a football pitch, a bedroom and a games room.
I enjoyed making the tree that the houses sit in. Our tree house looks good because we used real leaves instead of fake leaves to make it look real.

We have been learning about Andy Warhol and his famous artwork. Andy Warhol likes to play around with different colours.we have been trying to make our own Andy Warhol self portraits.
 first we drew ourselves then we dyed it with different bright colours.
